Kinesphere book design, 2014
While we were in WA we designed and published a small book on the occassion of an exhibition by Erin Coates at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Art (PICA). We interepreted Erin's art practice, which involves climbing public sculptures, by designing the book so the reader must constantly re-articulate their body in order to read the content. Book was finished with a resin cast of the artist's hand on a climbing grip, bolted directly through all the pages.
